Darrol van Deventer, Vice President, Mining joined Franco-Nevada in November 2024 in the business development group. Mr. van Deventer previously was Director, Mine Engineering at Equinox Gold Corp. Prior to that, he held various management roles in mining operations at several mining companies including New Gold Inc., Gold Fields Limited and AngloGold Ashanti plc. Mr. van Deventer holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Johannesburg and is a licensed professional engineer with Professional Engineers Ontario.
