Paul Brink is President & CEO and a director of Franco-Nevada. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Brink served as President & Chief Operating Officer of Franco-Nevada from May 2018 to May 2020. He has been with Franco-Nevada since its IPO in 2007 and successfully led its business development activities as SVP, Business Development from 2008 until his promotion to President & Chief Operating Officer in 2018. He previously had roles in corporate development at Newmont, investment banking at BMO Nesbitt Burns and project financing at UBS. Mr. Brink holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand and a Master’s degree in Management Studies from Oxford University.

Lloyd Hong, Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary, joined Franco-Nevada in December 2012. He previously was the Senior Vice‐President, Legal Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Uranium One Inc. Prior to that, he was a partner with the Canadian law firm of Davis LLP (now DLA Piper (Canada) LLP) with a practice focused on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Hong holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen’s University. Mr. Hong is a member of The Law Society of Ontario and The Law Society of British Columbia (non-practising).

Jason O’Connell, Senior Vice President, Diversified, has been with Franco-Nevada since 2008. His role includes leading business development activities for diversified mining and energy opportunities and managing the company’s energy portfolio. Mr. O’Connell led the growth of the company’s US energy portfolio and prior to that held roles in the business development group and managed investor relations. Prior to joining Franco-Nevada, he worked in mining equity research with the Bank of Montreal. Mr. O’Connell holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Dalhousie University and Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Geology from Acadia University.

Chris Bell, Vice President, Geology, is the geology lead in Franco-Nevada’s business development group. Before joining Franco-Nevada, Dr. Bell was Chief Geologist at B2Gold where he oversaw exploration in Africa. Prior to that, Dr. Bell held various senior mining exploration and project evaluation roles throughout the world with Dundee Precious Metals, Oyu Tolgoi LLC and Ivanhoe Mines. Dr. Bell holds a Doctor of Philosophy in structural economic geology on the Homestake Gold Mine, an Honours degree on the Retina Mine and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from James Cook University.

Bonavie Tek, Vice President, Finance, joined Franco-Nevada in 2016. She previously held a number of progressively senior roles with Torex Gold Resources, McEwen Mining and New Gold. Prior to that, she was a senior associate in the audit and assurance practice at PwC in Toronto and Santiago, Chile. Ms. Tek is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University.

John Blanchette, President, Franco-Nevada (Barbados) Corporation, joined Franco-Nevada (Barbados) Corporation in September 2018. Mr. Blanchette was previously a director at RBC Capital Markets in the Global Mining & Metals Investment Banking group where he advised on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity transactions. Mr. Blanchette completed a Master of Business Administration degree at the DeGroote School of Business and received a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario.

Nalinie Mahon, Vice President, Finance & Operations, Franco-Nevada (Barbados) Corporation, joined Franco-Nevada (Barbados) Corporation in August 2013. She previously served for 7 years as Chief Financial Officer of a Barbados financial services group from its inception in 2006. Prior to that, she worked in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Barbados and London (UK). Ms. Mahon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
