Franco-Nevada has a 2% revenue royalty on the Mouska operation in the Province of Quebec. Mouska is part of the Doyon Division comprised of the Doyon and Mouska underground mines. The Mouska property covers 792 hectares adjacent to the western border of the Doyon property. Mouska’s principal facilities include a headframe, a service building housing electrical and mechanical shops and an administrative office. All of the ore mined is processed at the 2,300 tonnes per day Doyon milling facilities. Production at the Doyon mine ended in December 2009. At the same time, the life of the Mouska mine was extended to early 2012 through the use of paste backfill. Mouska’s production in 2010 was 33,000 ounces at a cash cost of $655 per ounce. IAMGOLD expects 2011 production to be approximately 25,000 to 30,000 ounces. IAMGOLD reported that exploration in 2010 added to both reserves and measured and indicated resources but does not publicly break out Mouska’s numbers from that of the Doyon division.
